Come with me.
I will take your
bloodwarm hand
and you will feel the
stone ridges
of my eternal body.

I have a story:
I waited.
Time wound around me
in its music spiral
laughing in repetition.
The blade of the wind
tried to soften my edges
so I broke myself
into the pieces of eternity.
One of them lodged in
your heart.

I am sorry.
I cursed you.
But you have been cursed
worse than by me.
You are as Ulixes,
Aeneas.
You are watched by gods
who play chess with your
soul.

Conjure this image:
you, alone,
on a mountaintop.
The wind softening your
breathing
dying
skin.
Holding within you
the feeling you wrap tight
in paper and
hand over to those in need.
You are in need.
You
are
in
need.
You will not disappear.
You…
